If you're hiring a domestic helper for the first time in Singapore, you must attend an Employers' Orientation Programme (EOP) at least two working days before applying for a work permit.

This 3-hour program covers your responsibilities as an employer and costs between $35 and $60 (classroom) or $35 (online). The classroom option is recommended.
